We didn’t set out to build software; we set out to solve a problem. Our story began when attorneys at a national plaintiff’s law firm grew frustrated with the limitations of the case management systems available at the time. Instead of settling, they started building a wish list — every feature, tool, and safeguard they needed to run their cases more efficiently and accurately.

Over the next five years, that wish list grew into something much more. Together with skilled engineers, paralegals, and consultants, they turned their ideas into SmartAdvocate: a case management platform designed from the ground up to meet the demands of high-volume litigation.

Meet the SmartAdvocate Team
Our team works to improve, promote, sell and train others how to use our product. The SmartAdvocate Leadership Team includes current and former practicing attorneys, programming and technology experts, and sales professionals. Together they bring years of experience to making SmartAdvocate the best, most technologically advanced, and most user-friendly legal case management system available.

Igor has been with SmartAdvocate since 2011. He manages SmartAdvocate Development, Support and Implementation teams. Prior to joining SmartAdvocate, Igor was involved in development of IP-Call Center software.

Claude has been with SmartAdvocate since 2013 and is currently the VP of Client Operations. Prior to joining the team, Claude worked for the New York court system and practiced law for over 20 years.

Allison joined the SA team in early 2020 to lead the Sales, Marketing and Training teams. She brings extensive B2C / B2B marketing experience with emphasis on brand and creative strategy, acquisition, retention and customer experience.

Jose has been with SA since 2018. His extensive understanding of our CMS and his leadership of the Implementation team, guarantees an efficient onboarding experience for clients. Jose honed his skills as a law firm IT Director.
