Keep A Handle On Your Firm’s Client Contact Frequencies

One question we get on a regular basis from users of SmartAdvocate is “How can I see which of our clients have not been contacted or have not been contacted within ‘X’ days?” We can all agree that contacting our clients regularly is critical to keeping our clients happy and a must to foster goodwill for our firm! We all hate to get that phone call (or a visit) from an irate client who complains that nobody calls them back and they don’t know what’s going on with their case. So, does your current Case Management System have features to help you keep a handle on your client contact frequencies? Or will your current system allow management to generate reports that will help ensure the procedures and protocols for client contact are being followed?

SmartAdvocate, for example, specifically has a Client Contact Overdue Dashboard that will show whether the last client contact is beyond the range specified by the firm. It also has a Client Contact Overdue Report that will allow the firm to see (with just a few clicks) which cases or clients have not been contacted within the time frame designated by the firm.
